Le Royal Meridien Bahrain's ongoing investment into staff development at the luxury resort continues to reap rewards. Mr Ali Ahmadi, a concierge at the hotel, was recently awarded the Golden Keys award for excellence in his examinations for the title of Chief Concierge from the Union Internationale Des Concierges D'Hotels.
Not only is Mr Ahmadi the youngest concierge to be honoured with this distinction, but he is also one of very few Chief Concierges in the Middle East to be awarded the Golden Keys. Mr Ahmadi spent two months taking part in extensive training at Le Royal Meridien Park Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany with the very experienced Chief Concierge there, Mr Leonardo.
Mr Borrello, general manager of Le Royal Meridien Bahrain, was quick to acknowledge the Chief Concierge's outstanding efforts saying, "We are delighted for Mr Ahmadi to have received this top qualification from such a well recognised and international organisation and believe it reflects the hotel's ongoing commitment to exceptional service and to staff development and training."
"We undertook a measured investment plan to develop the staff and reorganise the structure of the hotel, and it is gratifying to see the results of this translating through to an improved customer service offering," concluded
Borrello. |
