The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) will return to the successful basics of the first-rate trade show, superior travel mart and unique networking opportunity for which the PATA Travel Mart was globally famous.
PATA last week announced it would resume full control of PATA Travel Mart, effective immediately.
In consultation with industry representatives, PATA has confirmed a new and optimal time slot of October 1-3, 2003 for the 26th PATA Travel Mart, which will take place at Suntec Singapore. The event will receive generous support from the travel industry in Singapore, facilitated by the Singapore Tourism Board.
The new PATA Travel Mart will emphasise PATA Event’s core values: personalised service, a detailed understanding of the industry, and a determination to attract the best product buyers.
PATA President and CEO, Mr. Peter de Jong said: "Building on an impressive 25-year tradition, PATA is committed to once again turning the PATA Travel Mart into the number one trade event for buyers and sellers of Pacific Asia tourism products."
At the same time the event will be easier on delegates’ pockets. PATA Managing Director-Events, Ms. Sheila Leong, said buyers and sellers would be "pleasantly surprised" at the reduced rates. "PTM 2003 will be much better value for money," she said.
PATA will soon release detailed information, including buyer and seller rates for the 2003 PATA Travel Mart. |
