Japan Airlines (JAL)
and Japan Air Systems (JAS) announced today domestic schedule revisions for October.
With the first phase of the JAL/JAS integration taking place in October, both carriers are currently working on the future systemization of reservations services and airport operations.
The schedule revisions for October, in comparison to September, reflect the return of up to18 one way slots at Tokyo's Haneda Airport as required under the terms of the merger. Changes have also been made to eliminate duplicated flights on the same routes at the same times, taking into account current passenger demand and customer convenience.
Although currently JAL and JAS will continue to maintain basically the same frequencies on each route, the carriers will make future route planning on an integrated basis. In the latter part of July they plan to release a more comprehensive domestic route plan for the post-October period. |
