British Airways and oneworld partner Iberia expand codeshare agreements

British Airways and Iberia first began codesharing in 1999 with a set of domestic UK and Spanish destinations being added to each other’s networks. This has been followed by four more groups of codeshare expansions, as well as developing sales representation for each other in 27 countries worldwide. Today’s announcement brings the total of codeshare routes to 39. Passengers will be able to earn frequent flyer miles on all of the new routes.
