In conjunction with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, The Hua Hin / Cha-Am Tourist Association and The Hua Hin / Cha-Am Golf Course Association, the Hua Hin Hoteliers Club have joined hands to launch the Hua Hin-Cha-Am Golf Festival from August 3 to September 8, 2002.
All golfers that play golf on any of the 6 golf courses during the festival will go into a lucky draw to play in the Final at The Imperial Lake View Golf Club on Sunday September 8. Green Fees during the Golf Festival are Baht 800.- including caddy ,Children 17 and under are Baht 400.- at all 6 Golf Courses. The top place getters in the festival tournaments will also qualify for the final.
Hua Hin is a scenic seaside village on the west coast of the Gulf of Siam and is steeped in history with a bounty of natural attractions. It is located 238 kilometers south of Bangkok and is a sanctuary frequented by the Thai Royal Family and high society. King Rama VII built a summer palace there in the 1920s and in 1928, the King completed a magnificent ocean hideaway as gift to Queen Rambaibanni, naming it "Klai Kangwol" which translates to "Far from worries"
