Qantas has announced it will increase services to New Zealand and Europe from 27 October.
Qantas Executive General Manager Sales and Marketing John Borghetti said the airline would:
* boost Sydney-Auckland return services by 15 per week - from 22 to 37;
* increase Sydney-Christchurch return services by four per week - from 17 flights to 21 per week operating Boeing 767 and 737 aircraft; and
* add a fourth weekly return service to Rome.
Mr Borghetti said the capacity increases were in line with demand in what are key Qantas markets.
"With the additional Rome service, Qantas will operate a total of 35 return services a week to the UK and Europe," he said.
"New Zealand is a popular business and leisure destination, and these additional services will take our total trans-Tasman frequency to 110 return flights a week."
