Air Algerie's latest addition to its new fleet is a new
Boeing Next-Generation 737-600. This new airplane is part of a
complete fleet renewal program that includes seven previously delivered 737-800s and four additional 737-600s scheduled to
deliver through the end of this year.
Air Algerie, one of the largest carriers in North Africa,
operates scheduled passenger and cargo services to over 30 destinations throughout North and West Africa, Europe and the
Middle East. An extensive domestic network also is operated in
addition to charter, air taxi and agricultural flight services.
The 737-600 is one of the newest and most technologically
advanced airplanes in the single-aisle market and can fly higher,
faster and farther than its competition. In addition, the 737 flight deck features the latest liquid-crystal flat panel displays
and is designed to accommodate new communications and flight management capabilities. With a Boeing
737 taking off every 5.6 seconds from the world's airports, these are the best selling
aircraft in aviation history with more than 5,000 orders to date. |
