In September 2002, a dedicated meeting, conference
and banqueting facility will be unveiled on the second floor of Mandarin
Oriental, Hong Kong.
The four new harbour view function rooms - Alexandra, Victoria, Chater and
Gloucester - face Victoria Harbour and are designed to make maximum use of
natural lighting and are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. They
will complement the award-winning hotel's existing meeting facilities,
providing 13 meeting rooms in total.
Each room will cater equally for small meetings as well as larger
gatherings, and the Victoria and Chater rooms can be combined to accommodate
up to 180 people.
In addition to the function rooms is the Board Room, with windows on to
Statue Square and Victoria Harbour. Features include a fixed table that can
seat up to 14 people, teleconferencing facilities, two plasma televisions,
and an additional private seating area.
A fully-comprehensive Business Centre will support the entire second
meeting, conference and banqueting facility with extensive, high tech
services available for the business traveller.
