Emirates Dubai Shopping Festival Holiday packages from US$ 33 a night

Travel News Asia 27 November 2002

Emirates Airlines, a key sponsor of Dubai Shopping Festival, is promoting the event by making fantastic value for money packages available across its network with prices starting from just US$33 per person per night sharing.

Emirates' DSF holiday packages are available to all passengers regardless of air fare or class of travel and are valid from January 15 to February 15 2003. They have been designed to suit all budgets, with prices starting from as little as US$33.00 per person per night sharing for a minimum three nights with an option to extend. They offer a choice of accommodation in 17 selected properties.

Hamad Obeidalla, Emirates' General Manager GCC, Yemen and Iran, said: "The Dubai Shopping Festival has been widely acclaimed as one of the most successful tourism promotion events of all time. Emirates is making a determined drive to bring in passengers from all parts of our network. This now includes 63 destinations in 45 countries across the globe. I am confident that these packages will enable more people than ever to take advantage of Dubai's 32 day-long shopping and entertainment carnival."

The package price includes breakfast and all accommodation-related taxes and service charges, transfers between Dubai International Airport and the hotel by chauffeur driven car, personalised meet and assist on arrival and an Arabian Adventures welcome pack that includes the Visiting Companion Points card. The packages also include an extra 10-kilo free baggage allowance on the return flight from Dubai. These unbeatable packages have been put together by Emirates Holidays and are part of the world-wide drive by Emirates to bring more overseas visitors to Dubai.

This time, Emirates is also giving an added bonus to its DSF visitors by making the Visiting CompanionPoints smart card available free to everyone buying a DSF package.

The card contains a chip on which points are accumulated at any one of 650 restaurants, leisure facilities and shops throughout Dubai. These points can be redeemed at any of the participating outlets. This card will be sold through travel agents to visitors to Dubai.
