Air New Zealand has announced a change in the senior executive team managing its operations and technical activities.
The company's Senior Vice President - Operations & Technical Bill Jacobson has advised that for personal reasons he will be leaving Air New Zealand at the end of October to return to his home country, the United States.
Mr Craig Sinclair, whose appointment to the position of Chief Information Officer at Air New Zealand was announced recently, will now move into the Senior Vice President's post in the company's Operations & Technical division.
Commenting on the changes, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Air New Zealand Ralph Norris said:
"It is with regret that we advise of Bill's decision to depart. He made a substantial contribution to the engineering and operations functions during a period of significant change.
"On the positive side, we have a very worthy replacement for him in Craig Sinclair, who has demonstrated his capabilities as chief executive of the Airways Corporation of New Zealand" Mr Norris said. |
