American Airlines will add a second daily, nonstop flight from Miami to Barbados, beginning June 15, 2002. The airline will serve the route with the 176-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft featuring roomier coach cabins.
"We're pleased to begin offering passengers the convenience of a second daily flight to Barbados," said Steve Prescott, country manager for American in Barbados. "This second daily flight will join our existing daily flight from Miami to Barbados and is further evidence of our commitment to grow our service to the Caribbean region."
In total, American and its regional affiliate American Eagle, offer four flights to Barbados, from Miami, New York Kennedy and San Juan.
American and American Eagle operate more than 260 daily flights from Miami to more than 80 destinations, including 43 points in the Caribbean and Latin America. The airline also offers 36 daily flights from Fort Lauderdale. |
