Myanmar Airways International
operates under a new IATA Airline Code ' 8M ' for MAI.
Effective from 22 April 2002 MAI will start using ' 8M ' as its new prefix for all its flights.
The actual flight numbers will remain unchanged. For example - UB231 will become 8M231, UB 222 will become 8M222, etc.
The flight number code changes will also be implemented in all the major CRS worldwide. |
