"At Six Continents Hotels, we are committed to building a global suite of high-growth, high return hotel brands that are market leaders, and that are at the forefront of innovative, personalized guest services," said Patrick Imbardelli, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice-President, Staff Services, Six Continents Hotels. "There is a trend towards greater relaxation, wellness and comfort for both business and leisure travelers and to meet that need, we are focusing on bringing our spa facilities to a new level. In the new year, we will be committing significant efforts on re-branding our spas across the region. Georgia joins us with expertise and knowledge from almost 10 years of experience in the spa and wellness industry. I am confident that she will help drive value within spa operations as we continue to bring our guest services to new heights so as to attract lifelong customers."
One of Georgia's immediate tasks includes the redesign and refurbishment of existing spa operations, starting with the InterContinental Hong Kong, in an effort to achieve the highest standards of spa services in the region. She will also set and implement operational standards and procedures for all spa operations and initiate new spa therapies and treatments to meet fast-changing consumer needs.
Prior to joining Six Continents Hotels, Georgia was the Regional Vice-President, Hawaii and South Pacific, at Mandara Spa, where she was solely responsible for the overall operations and performance of all the spas and supervised 300 employees.
