Mr. Henk Meyknecht has been appointed General Manager of Omni Saigon Hotel succeeding Anthony O'Neill.
Meyknecht is a seasoned hotelier with 20 years of experience having worked in various parts of Asia, Middle East, United States and Europe. He was most recently with Furama's Grand Pacific Hotel in Bangkok. Prior to Thailand, he was in China with Six Continents hotels as General Manager of Holiday Inn Shanghai and Holiday Inn Dalian and at Equatorial
Qingdao.
Meyknecht is a native of The Netherlands and received his Hotel Management degree at the Hotelschool Maastricht. He took courses in Business Administration at the University of Hong Kong and Marketing at Cornell University in New York.
