2002 in Cairo, Egypt.
Mediterranean Travel Fair, now in its third year, incorporates the whole of the Eastern Mediterranean region including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, the Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey and Cyprus. It provides the perfect business forum for key travel trade professionals to meet with leading tourism suppliers where every sector of local, regional and international travel is represented.
"The seminar programme at MTF has grown year on year and we are delighted to announce that we have a varied programme in place for this year's event", said Lindsey Kavanagh, Marketing Manager, Overseas Events. "Our aim is to offer an educational as well as a business platform for delegates and the seminar programme provides the opportunity to gain valuable ideas on how to enhance the marketing of products and services."
The seminar programme will include two seminars given by CIMPA (Connected International Meeting Professionals Association) on "Marketing to American Associations and Corporations" and "Using Technology to Target the Meetings and Incentives Market." Richard Butler, Professor of Tourism at the University of Surrey, UK, will speak on the subject of "Ecotourism: Is it the answer to the negative environmental impacts of world tourism expansion?"
