A new in-flight magazine for the new JAL Group formed by the merger of Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Air Systems (JAS), will be published in April 2003, replacing the JAL in-flight monthly magazine WINDS and ARCAS, the JAS publication.
"Skyward", the name of the new magazine, will be carried onboard all JAL Group carriers, with the exception of Okinawa-based Ryukyu Air Commuter and Japan Asia Airways. The combined circulation of the new in-flight publication on international and domestic routes will be 840,000 copies per month and "Skyward" will have a total readership of 4,500,000.
The name of the new publication comes from the phrase "Dream Skyward", one of the slogans now in use by the merging carriers in their newly launched corporate identity unification
programme. |
