ANA and Amazon.co.jp Team-Up

All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Amazon.co.jp have teamed up to create the "Take A Book and Travel" online marketing campaign effective immediately.

Through July 31, every customer who uses ANA's website "ANA SKY WEB" to purchase a ticket or confirm a reservation is eligible to receive a Yen 1,000 gift certificate good on Amazon.co.jp.

* Customers with total purchases of Yen 5,000 or more are eligible to enter a lottery to win a roundtrip ticket anywhere ANA flies in Japan. 100 roundtrip tickets will be made available.

*Gift certificates of Yen 1,000 valid on purchases of  Yen 3,500 or more, one certificate per customer.

"This is the first agreement of its kind between an airline and online retailer in Japan," said Katsuhiko Kitabayashi, ANA's Executive Vice President, Marketing, "ANA customers can take advantage of a great offer and become familiar with the simplicity and convenience of making travel arrangements online, it's a 'win-win' deal."

In celebration of this agreement, Amazon.co.jp has upgraded its bookstore by creating a new travel guide page (www.amazon.co.jp/travel) with separate categories according to region, purpose and series for even faster and easier access to numerous titles online.
