Finnair and Sabena's successor, Belgian airline SN Brussels Airlines, will
start cooperation on the services between Helsinki and Brussels on June 4,
2002. All the frequencies between the two cities will have both AY and SN
flight numbers.
The airlines will now have five daily frequencies between
Helsinki and Brussels on weekdays, two on Saturdays and three on Sundays.
Furthermore, Finnair will sell seats under its own flight number on the SN
Brussels Airlines routes from Helsinki via Brussels to Italy, France and
Switzerland.
Milan, Venice, Turin and Bologna are the new code-share destinations in
Italy, Lyon in France and Geneva in Switzerland. Milan flights will connect
with Finnair and SN Brussels Airlines services on the Helsinki-Brussels-Helsinki route two
times a day and the other flights three times a day.
Check-in for Helsinki flights in Brussels will take place at the operating
carrier's check-in desk. All the Finnair and SN Brussels Airlines flights,
except for the Geneva flights, depart and arrive at the new A- Pier at
Brussels Airport, which was opened yesterday. Geneva flights are operated
from Terminal-B. |
