During new winter program 2002/03, starting 27 October 2002, Thai Airways International plans to operate to four new destinations namely Xiamen in the People’s Republic of China, Geneva in Switzerland, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, as well as to increase flight frequencies on international routes.
According to Kanok Abhiradee, THAI’s President, THAI plans to operate to four new destinations on the routes Bangkok-Xiamen v.v., Bangkok-Athens-Geneva v.v., and Bangkok-Bahrain-Abu Dhabi-Bangkok as only a small number of airlines currently serve these destinations. “These destinations offer a range of tourist attractions.
