"Are we there yet?" will be a phrase of the past on long flights
from Hong Kong as British Airways launches the new 'Skyflyers' activity pack. Designed and developed with Disney, the new packs are designed to amuse and entertain even the most energetic of young flyers.
With summer just around the corner, this means holidays abroad, family reunions and lots of travelling, and many families will agree, travelling long distance with young passengers can sometimes be stressful. Research undertaken by British Airways shows that keeping young travellers happy and occupied makes flying a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Younger children need frequent new activities to keep them amused and entertained. Capitalising on Disney's vast knowledge and experience of how children interact and respond to different characters and activities, the packs have been developed focusing on 2 key age groups - 3 to 7 and 8 to 12.
For 'Junior' flyers, the Winnie the Pooh bag comes packed with plenty to do. The 3 to 7 year olds will receive an exciting activity magazine full of games, colouring and story telling, crayons, an eraser, pencil and topper. The fun finger puppets promise to raise a smile and character playing cards are sure to be a winner.
Committed to being cool, pre teens will love the exclusively designed street-cred style Mickey Mouse bag filled with activities to keep them occupied in the air and on the ground. As well as a dedicated "Lift Off" magazine, 'Seniors' will receive a sports bottle, playing cards, a pen and a personal
organiser.
Returning to Hong Kong is just as much fun as British Airways introduces the new concept of completing the pack on the homeward journey. Juniors have a 24 piece jigsaw to puzzle over and a 3D Winnie the Pooh model to build. Older children are treated to a travel game and key ring. Both age groups receive their very own homeward edition magazine.
The dedicated children's channel and family channel on the in-flight video systems complement the new activity pack.
With British Airways, parents will be able to relax on the flights knowing that their children are entertained with the new 'Skyflyers' Disney pack, and that they are flying with an airline who has dedicated services for children. Some of the services include pre-reservation of family seats, push chairs to the aircraft side, family first boarding, a children eat first policy, children's meals, cots for babies and infant seats for 6 month to 2 year olds.
Family travel can be stressful but British Airways with the help of Disney will do their best to keep the kids happy leaving parents free to remember the tickets, passports,
luggage. |
