Cathay Pacific Airways has announced the appointment of Mr. Nick Rhodes as Director Flight Operations, with effect from 1 January 2003. He will oversee all aspects of the airline's global flight operations. Mr. Rhodes succeeds Captain Ken Barley who retires from the position after 23 years' service with the Group.
Mr. Rhodes has worked with the Group for more than 22 years, including the past five years in the Flight Operations Department as General Manager Aircrew. He is currently Deputy Director Flight Operations.
Cathay Pacific Deputy Chairman & Chief Executive Mr. David Turnbull said: "We are very pleased that Nick is taking over the Director's role. He brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the job. We are also deeply indebted to Ken, who has performed with great distinction through some very challenging years in the aviation industry." |
