Valid from December 1 until March 31, Le Meridien’s Winter Passport programme offers travellers significant rates deals at the group’s hotels in Europe, Asia and the Pacific, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East.
According to Russel Sharpe, senior vice-president, sales, business travellers and holidaymakers can opt for value-for-money deals combined with the familiarity of the Le Meridien quality brand worldwide by using the Winter Passport.
“With 17 hotels in the Middle East, Le Meridien is an established favourite for intra-regional travel, and now those going farther afield can take advantage of discounts of up to 50 per cent on room rates at 80 of our properties on five continents,” he said.
A choice of 34 hotels in 13 countries is available in Europe alone, with rates from £75 in the UK, rising to £169 at the popular Le Meridien Grosvenor House and £205 at Le Meridien Piccadilly.
Elsewhere on the continent, Le Meridien Montparnasse in Paris is offering a room rate of €169 a night, while in Germany, newly-opened Le Meridien Munich has a €135 nightly rate.
In Asia, Winter Passport deals are valid at six hotels in India, with rates from US$80 a night, as well as resorts and city properties in Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Australia.
Other bargains are on offer in the United States – in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Dallas – as well as Morocco and the Seychelles, where the new Pearl of Seychelles cruise has a special €286 full-board daily rate.
“The programme extends to our Middle East hotels and resorts too,” said Sharpe, “with attractive pricing which offer potential for residents to take a short break within the region during the winter months.”
In Lebanon, Le Meridien Commodore in Beirut has a US$76 nightly rate, while prices in Egypt start at US$60 and in the UAE, rates start from Dh300 in Dubai and Dh250 in the capital, at the Abu Dhabi Grand – which was recently taken over by Le Meridien, prior to upgrading and rebranding as Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi next year.
“Le Meridien passport programmes have become an established favourite in recent years, and with the upcoming festive season there is no doubt that the timely introduction of these rate deals at popular destinations will again strike a chord with the travelling public,” concluded Sharpe. |
