Finnair and Golden Air will cooperate to introduce a new nonstop route from Helsinki to Stuttgart, capital of Baden-Wuerttenberg state in Southern Germany, effective August 26th.

The route will be operated twice daily during business days using Golden Air's 50-seater Saab 2000 aircraft. Departures from Helsinki are at 7.45am and 4.30pm, and from Stuttgart at 10.15am and 6.55pm. The flight schedule has been designed for the business traveller in mind, creating good connections from our domestic network. Additionally, there will be good connections to and from our Far East routes.

Stuttgart has a somewhat larger population than Helsinki. Overall, the catchment area of Stuttgart Airport covers the 11 million inhabitants of the state of Baden-Wuerttenberg and also parts of Northern Switzerland and Western France. Some major cities in the area are Baden Baden, Freiburg, Heilbronn, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Strasbourg and Ulm. For the leisure traveller Stuttgart is a good starting point for trips to the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the Rhine valley and the Alps.
