Sheraton Four Points expecting to increase occupancy by 15% during Dubai Summer Surprises

The Sheraton Four Points in Bur Dubai has announced a whole host of promotions and events to take place during the Dubai Summer Surprises, which this year runs from June 20 until August 30. The Sheraton Four Points hotel is taking part in the 'Fun for Free' promotion organized by Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), whereby guests can enjoy privileged discounts on its room rates and food and beverage outlets during the summer.

"We are expecting a 15 percent increase in bookings over the DSS period, thanks to the aggressive marketing of the 'Fun for Free' promotion by DTCM," states Angelina Riviera, Revenue Manager at the Sheraton Four Points. "This 15 percent increase is on top of the average 66 percent occupancy rate that we have during this time of year, so we are very pleased to be a part of the DTCM promotion. The major proportion of our guests during summer come from the leisure segment.

World Cup fever overlaps this year with DSS until the end of June, and with this in mind the Sheraton Four Points has come up with several promotions to keep both football supporters and guest enjoying the delights of DSS happy this month.

"Promotions we have come up with include the Kebab Festival, which takes place in the our popular Antique Bazaar Indian Speciality Restaurant and runs until July 31. Here, diners can sample an enormous choice of kebabs from around the world at a special daily fixed price. Meanwhile, our Promenade Restaurant is offering its guests an exceptional dinner promotion until August 31, allowing diners the opportunity to eat and drink as much as they like for only Dhs 75 net. The Promenade Restaurant has daily theme nights, offering different cuisine from around the world."

The Viceroy outlet is giving away a prize every day of the World Cup, and all one has to do is guess which teams will win the day's matches, write this down on the back of one's business card and enter. There will be special prize for the guest who correctly guesses the winner of the final. In addition, early risers can also enjoy a full English breakfast with tea or coffee in the Viceroy for a mere Dhs 19 net, while lunch is on offer for Dhs 25 net, including a complementary beverage.
