Regent
International Hotels appointed Mr. Christopher R.J. Knable to the
position of general manager of The Regent Wall Street located at 55 Wall
Street in the heart of New York's financial district. The appointment
was announced by Mr. Tom Huffsmith, president of Regent International
Hotels.
Mr. Knable will be responsible for directing and overseeing all
day-to-day operations of the 144-room luxury property located within
steps of the New York Stock Exchange.

key position. His diversified, international experience with several of
the world's most respected hotel companies will be a valued asset in
operating The Regent Wall Street as a leader in Manhattan's luxury
market," Mr. Huffsmith said.
Mr. Knable joins Regent with more than 15 years of experience in the
hospitality industry. Most recently he was general manager at the
Regency Hotel in New York, a 351-room flagship property for Loews
Hotels. Mr. Knable also has extensive experience with The Peninsula
Group, having held various positions with Peninsula hotels in New York,
Manila and Beijing. He has also worked with several prominent, luxury
hotels in New York including The Plaza and The Pierre.
Mr. Knable, who begins his new position at The Regent Wall Street on
March 5, is a graduate of Hunter College in New York. He also completed
coursework at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.
