INDUSTRY VETERAN BECOMES QUESTBAY GROUPS SENIOR ADVISOR

New international tourism consultancy firm, The Questbay Group, has appointed Tourism and Leisure Industry veteran, Mr. George E. Lipp, as Senior Specialist Advisor.

An executive for over 30 years with major international firm, Pannell Kerr Forster, Mr. Lipp was PKFs former Asia Consulting Division Managing Director based in Hong Kong, following 27 years with that company in Hawaii.

George E. Lipp supported the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in a number of capacities over many years. He was a PATA Executive Committee Member and was Chairman of the PATA Development Authority.

In 1967 in Sri Lanka, Mr. Lipp lead the first of many tourism development studies for national governments in the Pacific-Asia and Indian Ocean Regions. In addition, he has been involved in a large number of site evaluation; market, financial and tourism capacity studies and related tourism projects for private entrepreneurs in and around the same regions.

Mr. Lipp founded his consulting company, George E. Lipp, Inc. in 1980 and it continues to be active in a range of tourism, leisure and related industry projects and activities, particularly in Australasia. Mr.Lipp is now based in Sydney.

As Senior Specialist Advisor to The Questbay Group (URL: www.questbay.com), George Lipp will support the recently-formed international tourism consultancy in key project management and liaison areas, including delivering experienced advice on feasibility, market evaluation and tourism destination capacity studies.

George E. Lipp brings unequalled experience and the highest level of international expertise to The Questbay Group at a particularly relevant and useful time, said Group CEO, Graham C. Hornel, when confirming this appointment.

Georges senior role adds significant value to this new Groups broad consulting capabilities and to what it is qualified to offer to a wide range of international clients, he added.
