Finnair is
improving its code share cooperation with Belgian airline Sabena.
From the start of the summer timetable, March 25th Sabena flights from
Brussels to Geneva, Strasbourg, Lyon, Bologna, Turin, Milan and Athens
will become code shares, along with the existing code shares between
Helsinki and Brussels and Stockholm and Brussels.
At the same time, Sabena's flight code will appear on Finnair flights
from Stockholm to Turku, Tampere and Vaasa, from Helsinki to Tallinn,
and from Helsinki to Turku, Tampere and Vaasa.
Previous sales restrictions on the flights will also be lifted. Both
airlines will sell seats for the code share flights on a so-called "free
flow", first-come, first served basis, with tickets on sale by either
airline as long as seats remain on any particular flight.
The cooperation offers new flight connection possibilities to Finnish
passengers, via Brussels to the south of France and the Mediterranean,
an area for which there has previously been a shortage of good
connections. In the opposite direction, passengers heading for Finland
and the rest of Scandinavia are provided with excellent new connections. |
