The Oriental,
Bangkok was voted “The World’s Top Business Hotel” in the 2001 Business
Traveller Awards, and Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong was voted the best
business hotel in Hong Kong.
Mr Kurt Wachtveitl, General Manager of The Oriental said “Having

survey conducted by a UK based publication which complies with the rules
of the Market Research Society. Compiled from the response of Business
Traveller’s 150,000 readers in the UK and mainland Europe, the results
of the Business Traveller Reader Poll, now in it’s 18th year, are
independently assessed by a third party.
