The number and
range of exhibitors attending the 5th ICCA annual Congress and
Exhibition is because of the high quality audience and the support and
professionalism of a worldwide sales team, Debbie Jackson, Group MICE
Director, Reed Travel Exhibitions said this week in Cancun, Mexico, 4-7
November.
"Taking into account the events since September, this is an excellent
result, reflecting the supreme calibre of those attending and the
international experience of the MICE industry sales team," said Jackson.
" ICCA is a perfect niche marketing opportunity for ICCA members and non
members to showcase their facilities, products and services."
A total of 43 exhibitors are participating and there is a record of 21
new exhibitors.
New exhibitors are: Catalonia Palace of Congresses, Hilton Cancun Beach
& Golf Resort, Cuba Convention Bureau, Busan Exhibition & Convention
Center, Polish Tourist Co-operative, The Meetings Group Primedia
Business, ICCA Latin America Chapter, Global Incentive Management,
Puerto Rico CVB, Wonderful Copenhagen, Olympus Tours / Olympus
Incentives, Las Americas Exhibition Center, Best Day Tour & DMC, Xcaret,
Tropical Incentives - EPIC/DMC Worldwide, Mexico City CVB, Consejo De
Promocion Turistica, DOME, Beijing Chamber of International Commerce,

the Internet Café.
Jackson said that the variety of exhibitors was particularly
encouraging, ranging from technology companies, conference suppliers and
security to destinations, incentive companies, hotels and publishers.
The exhibition runs throughout the three days of the General Assembly
and Congress.
"This is a very important forum for the meetings industry", said
Jackson," and will give everyone time to discuss and address the
challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the industry.
"It will also be a preparation and first vital step before an
unprecedented united meeting of industry association leaders which Reed
Travel Exhibitions has been asked to organise by the industry
immediately following the Congress here.
"The meeting will collect and share market information on how the
industry is responding to the crisis as well as review global strategies
for improved, co-ordinated and consistent messages."
The meeting, chaired by Tom Nutley, Managing Director of Reed Travel
Exhibitions, is to be held on Tuesday 13 November during the Incentive,
Conference and Business Travel Day at World Travel Market, London.
