KLM Royal
Dutch Airlines and Aer Lingus from Ireland have agreed to expand their
existing Amsterdam-Dublin codeshare cooperation to the Amsterdam-Cork
route. The new codeshare operation began last week, with a twice-daily
round-trip service, operated by Aer Lingus Boeing 737 aircraft.
The morning flight, EI 840/KL 3170, departs from Cork at 06:50 hours and
arrives in Amsterdam at 09:35 hours. Return flight EI 841/KL 3171 leaves
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 10:20 hours and arrives at Cork Airport at
11:10 hours.
The second flight, EI 843/KL 3173, leaves Amsterdam at 15:15 hours and
arrives in Cork at 16:00 hours. Return flight EI 848/KL 3178 takes off
from Cork at 17:15 hours, arriving in Amsterdam at 19:55 hours.
Cork is the second Irish destination to be connected with Amsterdam
through EI/KL codesharing.
The two airlines already offer six daily return flights with shared
EI/KL codes between Dublin and Amsterdam, also operated by the Irish
airline. |
