For the second
consecutive year Dragonair will be an exhibitor at the largest
professional travel mart in Asia, CITM, which is being held in Kunming,
in China’s Yunnan province.
The China International Travel Mart 2001 runs from November 8-11, and
will attract tourism professionals and buyers from around the region and
beyond.
“As the biggest event of its kind in Asia, it’s a great place to
showcase all the exciting developments that are taking place at
Dragonair, such as our loyalty club, The Elite, and our fleet expansion
plans,” said Andy Tung, General Manager Marketing & Sales.
The airline will have a 54-square-metre booth featuring a range of
information about its route network, products and services. Dragonair
staff will be on hand to answer queries from trade visitors and the
public.
“It’s also an opportunity for the travel industry to look forward, gauge
future demand and get feedback from the market,” said Andy Tung.
CITM 2001 is jointly organised by the China National Tourism
Administration, the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and the
General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.
Dragonair flies to Kunming four times a week from Hong Kong, with
departures on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Dragonair is a Hong Kong-based airline, operating a fleet of seven
A330-300s, three A321s and seven A320s in addition to two Boeing 747
freighters. It is currently in the midst of a programme to more than
double its fleet by the end of 2005. The airline’s passenger network
covers 27 destinations across the Asia-Pacific region, while its cargo
network connects the markets of Europe, the Middle East, China and
Japan. |
