Reed Travel
Exhibitions (RTE) have launched a major restructuring of their senior
management in an expansion drive aimed to reinforce their position as
market leaders.
Directors Fiona Jeffery, Matt Thompson and Debbie Jackson have been
promoted to Group Exhibition Directors with extra responsibilities,
including researching for new events to add to the company's extensive
portfolio.
Alix Blumsom is appointed Customer Relationship Management Director and
this key role will involve heavy focus on developing RTE's website and
building up awareness of their travel portal.
Sam Goonetillake comes in as RTE Sales Director, armed with 15 years of
experience ranging over Forte Hotels, The Financial Times, IATA and
Wembley Event Management.
Miranda Beevor replaces Alix Blumsom as Relationship Marketing Manager.
"These changes are introduced because of recent expansion and to
maximise the potential for immediate and future growth," said managing
director Tom Nutley.
"With this strengthened and increased management team, I have no doubt
that RTE will continue to enhance its standing in the travel industry as
the world's leading travel industry exhibition organiser."
As Marketing & Business Development Director & UK Events, Fiona
Jeffery's role will mean working closely with Nutley in projecting the
brand and developing new business projects. She already heads up RTE's
flagship event, World Travel Market and British Travel Trade Fair.

for the Arabian Travel Market, Mediterranean Travel Fair, CIS Travel
Market, International Golf Travel Market plus PATA Travel Mart, based in
Singapore, reporting directly to him. He will be RTE's representative
co-ordinating with Top Resa (France).
