Viraya Javakul, President of Sri-Siam Gala Night Organizing Committee,
together with Mr. Bhisit Kuslasayanon, President of Thai Airways
International Public Company Limited, and Mr. Alain Hivelin, President
of Pierre Balmain Paris, co-chaired a press conference to announce the
upcoming Sri-Siam Gala Night, organized to help raise funds for the
SUPPORT Foundation under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
“On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are deeply honored that Her
Majesty Queen Sirikit will graciously preside over the gala night on 7th
April,” said Thanpuying Viraya Javakul, President of Sri-Siam Gala
Organizing Committees. The gala will take place at Grand Ballroom,
Shangri-La Hotel.
Activities during the evening include an exclusive Fashion show from
Pierre Balmain Paris and a display of glamorous jewelry from Blue
Diamond. In addition, there will be a presentation of a
‘Thepsirikitsiamsri’ slide multi-vision, featuring the work of Her
Majesty the Queen dedicated to improving the lives of Thai people
throughout the country. Well-known artists from Grammy Entertainment
Plc. including Maleewan Gemina, Nicole Terio, Christina Aguila, Puvanart
Kunnapalin, and Sirisak Ittipolpanich, will perform a Ratri Sri-Siam
musical piece, together with Thanpuying Viraya Javakul, Dolachai
Boonyarattanavej, Arther Panyachote and Prof. Duangjai Amartayakul,
accompanied by the Royal Thai Army Orchestra. The song is specially
composed by Thanpuying Viraya Javakul. There will be a Season of Love
modern dance show.
THAI provides transpotation on the route between Bangkok and Paris
bringing the team of top models of Pierre Balmain Paris to Thailand.
“THAI is very pleased to take part in this charitable event from which
all the proceeds raised will be donated to the SUPPORT Foundation under
the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen. THAI has a long established
relationship with Pierre Balmain Paris, starting in 1981 when Pierre
Balmain designed the uniform for THAI cabin attendants,” said Mr. Bhisit
Kuslasayanon. The uniform was worn until 1989.
Mr. Alain Hivelin, President of Pierre Balmain Paris, will also be
present at the gala night to present two evening dresses made
exclusively for Her Majesty the Queen.
A collection of 55 classic black and white smart-casual office dresses
and glamorous evening dresses, designed by Oscar de la Renta, will be
presented.
The office dresses are made from Cashmere, Linen, and Shantung Silk,
decorated with bird feathers and muslin. The grandeur of
lace-embroidered and sequined chiffon evening dresses will be magnified
by a collection of jewelry from Blue Diamond. |
