Radisson Hotel’s Country Fest and Chili Cookoff

On September 16th, 2001 The Radisson Hotel Narita Airport will hold it’s first annual Country Fest. In case of rain the event will be held on September 22nd, 2001. Please join us for good fun, live American style Country Music and the first ever Radisson Hotel Chili Cookoff!

The grand prizewinner of the chili Cookoff will win a 4-night trip to Dallas Texas!



· Festival opens at 11am and will close at 6pm, and entrance is Free of Charge!

· Festival will include a flea market style area for local vendors to display and sell their goods. Registration for flea market area will be from Aug. 1st through Sept. 1st.

(¥ 1000 registration fee for all flea market vendors. Space is limited so register early!

· There will be a kid’s area including pony rides and games. Our kid’s club will also be open for your children’s entertainment.

· There will be live music throughout the afternoon for that “COUNTRY FEELING”

· Snack foods, draft beer and soft drinks as well as grilled steaks will be available for purchase.

· Super Stars An American Sports & Bar Beer Garden will be open for bar service. Come and watch the chili cook-off contestants make their chili for the contest!

· Registration for the chili cookoff will be from August 1st – September 1st. The contest is limited to the first 20 applicants so please register early. An information packet will be available to all people who register for the cooking contest.

· Judging of contest will begin at 3pm and announcement of winners will follow the finalization of the judges.

· Local farmer’s groups will also be involved, selling their fresh vegetables.

· Starting August first, you can call the hotel at 0476 93-1234 ext. 65 for more information and to register as a flea market vendor or cooking contestant. Ask about our information packet that we can mail you.

· Every Sunday in August, we will have a Texas style bar-be-que with live music in our beer garden. Come sample a different chili every week and pick up 2 new recipes for the festival!
