Four hotels in South America bolster Kempinski's portfolio

Kempinski Hotels & Resorts has signed management contracts for a group of four boutique hotels, centrally located in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires. The hotels are operational and Kempinski takes over their management on August 1st 2001. European in style and character, the hotels have a combined total of 230 rooms.

The Park Chateau Kempinski, in the exclusive Recoleta quarter, offers 63 rooms and suites, a French restaurant, coffee shop, private parking, jacuzzi, business centre and air-conditioned ballroom. Off-site, guests have use of a nearby gym and, in summer, to a leisure club with tennis courts and swimming pool.

The Park Plaza Kempinski, also located in Recoleta, is close to the main shops and just 4km from Jorge Newbery Airport. It has 54 elegantly designed rooms, an international restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, gymnasium, business centre, caf and private car park.

The Park Elegance Kempinski has 43 rooms, an international restaurant, beauty salon, ballroom, coffee shop and on-site airline ticket desk.

The Park Central Kempinski has 70 lavish rooms decorated in Louis XV style, spread over 11 floors, with two cocktail lounges, coffee shop, business centre, two conference rooms, florist and an international restaurant.
