New Director of Sales & Marketing for Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon

The Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has appointed Mr. Julian Wong as the new Director of Sales & Marketing. Julian brings with him ten years of experience in the Hotel and Tourism Industry.

A holder of Diploma in Commerce from TAR College, Malaysia, he started out with Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, located in Malaysia. Julian first joined Marriott International at the pre-opening Sales Office of Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel in 1996, a 921 room hotel complex with 9 Food & Beverages Outlets.

In 1997, Julian assumed the position of Director of Sales for the Renaissance Sandakan Hotel. And in 1999 Julian was transferred to the position of Cluster Director of Sales for Renaissance Malaysia Cluster Sales Office, looking after 5 Hotels.

Mr. Wong replaces Mr. Nicholas Tse, who is moving to Singapore as Director of Marketing for the Singapore Marriott effective from September 10, 2001.
