Air Canada
today named Peter Donolo as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and
Government Relations.
Donolo, currently Canada's Consul General in Milan, was formerly
Director of Communications in the Prime Minister's Office from 1993 to
1999. Donolo will have overall responsibility for federal, provincial
and territorial government relations, corporate communications,
community relations and charitable donations. He will be based in
Toronto.
"Peter has a solid record in strategic communications and has a strong
understanding of the workings of government," said Robert Milton,
President and CEO. "His track record of success has earned him
widespread respect and his proven communications skills will augment all
our corporate efforts to provide exceptional service to our customers."
Donolo's appointment is effective April 16th. He replaces Doug Port who
has been named Senior Vice President, Customer Service, based in
Calgary. |
