Mr Leslie
Leung has recently been appointed General Manager of Century Inn North
Point. The 210-room hotel, which opened on 5 January 2001, is the latest
addition to the rapidly growing portfolio of properties managed by
Century International Hotels.
Mr Leung is no newcomer to the Century group. He first joined Century in
1991 as a Financial Controller after gaining years of experience in
financial management at two Hilton properties and the Hyatt Regency Hong
Kong. In 1993, he migrated to Canada where he continued his career in
the hotel industry as the Financial Controller of Radisson Plaza Toronto
and Sheraton Ottawa Hotel & Tower. Mr Leung brings to Century his
extensive financial knowledge when he rejoined the group in 1998 as an
Area Controller. In Year 2000, Mr Leung was promoted to General Manager
and tasked with additional responsibilities for opening the 210-room
Century Inn North Point in Hong Kong. In his new role, Mr Leung will be
oversee all operations and management of the new property which is
targeted at budget travellers coming to Hong Kong.
Century International Hotels currently manages 21 hotels and resorts in
seven Asian countries Hong Kong SAR, China, Vietnam, Malaysia,
Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. Opening in 2001 will be the
140-room Century Samarkand Hotel in Uzbekistan. |
