UNITED AIRLINES LAUNCHES NEW FARE PACKAGES FOR HONG KONG TRAVELERS

Special deals valid until December 12 make it a great time to fly to North America

United Airlines today announced the offer of a series of new fare packages for travel from Hong Kong to North American destinations at greatly discounted prices, valid for travel from now through December 12, 2001.

The new fare packages fall into three categories based on routing and validity. They all feature substantial discounts for travel from Hong Kong to North America and are among the best deals in the market.

“As we fully get back into business, we are pleased to offer these great fares that make it more affordable than ever to travel to North America,” said Nicolas E Ferri, United’s General Sales Manager for Hong Kong. “These Hong Kong initiatives add just one more option for rewarding our customers, in addition to our global mileage and redemption offers announced earlier by Mileage Plus. We are continuing to work on more initiatives to boost air travel.”

Listed below are some highlights of the Hong Kong special packages:

1. Point-to-Point fares valid for departures through midnight, Dec 12 with a 60-day maximum stay:

All the above fares are available at travel agencies and are subject to addition of relevant taxes. These fares are sample fares only. There are additional fares and additional destinations available.

United’s Mileage Plus has already announced a double miles offer from now until November 15, 2001 and a travel award sale which offers free travel for redemption of less mileage points which will be in effect until the beginning of 2002.
