According to China ancient legend “the appearance of Dumplings (Jiaozi) resembles a V-shape gold or silver ingot used as money and to connote good fortune and blessings”. Dumplings or Jiaozi are specialties of China’s most ancient city, Xian.

Acclaimed award-winning Dumpling Specialty Chef Liu Rong Ping and her all-female entourage from ANA Grand Castle Hotel Xian will be arriving at ANA Hotel Singapore’s doorsteps this coming June for a 11-day Xian specials from 15 to 25 June 2001.

Jiaozi or Dumpling is the most popular food enjoyed by the Chinese and one of Xian’s specialties is the excellent Dumplings. The Chinese consider eating Jiaozi as their top delicacies.

This Dumpling Banquet will present more then 20 types of authentic mouthwatering array of famous Xian Dumplings that will surely tantalise your tastebuds. Specialties include daily boiled, steamed and fried Dumplings, fresh from the Chef’s kitchen such as Steamed Dumpling of Duck and Soybean, Steamed Dumpling of Crab Meat, Steamed Dumpling of Sausage and Green Vegetable, Steamed Dumpling of Pork and Egg, Steamed Dumpling of Ham and Green Vegetable, Steamed Dumpling of Fish Maw and Sesame Paste, Steamed Dumpling of Walnut and Red Bean Paste, Steamed Dumpling of Green Pepper and Stalky Lettuce, Steamed Dumpling of Chicken and Spicy Soybean Paste, Dumpling in Sour Soup, Fried Dumpling, Dumpling Home Style, etc. (Menu is attached – Variety changes daily)
