Georges Abi Aad JOINS Crowne Plaza Beirut AS Director of Sales & Marketing

Six Continents Hotels has appointed Georges Abi Aad as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Crowne Plaza Beirut, Lebanon’s first Crowne Plaza hotel, which opens early next year.

Abi Aad, who graduated in computer science and business management from Saint Joseph University, has a decade of professional experience in sales and tourism within the Gulf region. He also spent five years as a tour manager with Travel and Transport Services in Saudi Arabia and as sales manager with a Dubai travel agency.

Located on Hamra Street, once regarded as the Champs Elysees of Beirut, the 200-room Crowne Plaza Beirut is a short stroll from the corniche overlooking the Mediterranean, and is just 15 minutes from the airport.

Six Continents Hotels currently manages nine Crowne Plaza hotels and resorts in the Middle East and Africa. The region’s second Crowne Plaza resort opens at Abu Soma on Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera early next year.
