Bass Hotels & Resorts Reinforces Dominant Presence In China With Opening of Crowne Plaza Nanjing

Bass Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Crowne Plaza Nanjing – the first Crowne Plaza brand in Nanjing and the second to open this year in mainland China. This brings its hotel portfolio in China to a total of thirty three (33) – making it the largest international hotel operator in the country. Further development within China is aggressively underway and 11 hotels are targeted to be opened within the next twelve months.

The launching of Crowne Plaza Nanjing marks a big stride forward for Bass Hotels & Resorts. Nanjing is developing into one of the most important cities in China for foreign investment, industry and commerce with advance infrastructure and communications network. Being the capital city of Jiangsu Province and located within 3-hours drive distance from Shanghai, Nanjing is a major pivot of eastern China.

Crowne Plaza Nanjing is located in a 60 storey landmark building offering 300 well-appointed guestrooms, including the Panorama Suites and Studio Suites. All rooms feature separate bathtubs and shower cubicles and 60% of the rooms exceed 50 square metres of space. The hotel has a wide selection of fine cuisine, including The Spice Market serving daily themed international buffets. Crowne Plaza Nanjing also has complete meeting and banquet facilities with an array of function rooms of varying sizes. In addition the hotel has a fully-equipped Business Centre and recreational facilities such as a Health Centre and gym as well as games rooms.
