note *:
November 22, 2000 is the date of our announcement of first half results
for FY 2001.
note **:This is the first time to disclose forecast of operating profit.
3. Reasons for filing
Revenue for air transport is expected to exceed the original forecast as
of November 22, 2000 due to steady growth in passenger demand for
domestic and international operations, especially rapid growth of first
class and business class passengers on international operations.
Operating expenses are expected to be almost the same as the original
forecast.
Because of the above-mentioned conditions, consolidated results of
recurring profit and net profit are expected to improve the forecast
significantly.
On the other hand, non-consolidated results of net profit are expected
to be worse by counting in special losses of related businesses
including hotel operations |
