Regal Hotels International Announces New Regal Merit Reward Scheme

Regal Hotels International proudly announces the launch of the new Regal Merit Reward Scheme, a more rewarding loyalty programme signifying our stride forward to improve our services in every aspects for our guests.

Built on the old programme, this new Regal Merit Reward Scheme will be upgraded to include two categories of membership effective from March 1, 2001 onwards. Existing Regal Merit Members will become either Purple Members or Gold Members under this new reward scheme. Categorization will depend on the stay members have accumulated over the past 12 months, with one stay only for Purple Members and 10 stays (or 20 nights’ stay) for Gold Members. Both kinds of memberships will last for 24 months, after which members will have to renew their membership according to stipulated procedures and requirements.

While both kinds of members are entitled to a host of exclusive benefits and privileges including:

• Frequent Flyer Programme mileage credit upon paying eligible rate

• Late check-out (subject to room availability)

• Normal suites upgrade at check-in for US$50 (subject to room availability while excluding service charges and tax)

• Daily newspaper supply

• Free use of health club

• Welcome amenities

• Priority wait-list,

the Gold Members are entitled to more including:

• Free local phone calls and local faxes

• Guaranteed room availability for reservation 48 hours prior to arrival, and

• No service fee for cash advance on major credit cards (up to US$200 per stay).
