The Stauntons
Group is delighted to be celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of its modern
Nepalese cuisine restaurant, Kath+man+du. Located at No 11 Old Bailey
Street in Soho, Kath+Man+Du has established itself as Hong Kongs
favorite Nepalese speciality restaurant, serving traditional Nepalese
fare that has been uniquely modified to modern tastes and preferences,
with a focus on being lighter and healthier.
In celebration of its 2nd birthday, Kath+Man+du has launched a new menu
which features both modern and Royal Nepalese dishes, as well as a
selection of popular Asian curry dishes and tandoori favourites prepared
in a traditional clay oven. The menu is based on the lavish banquets of
the Nepalese Royal Courts in the days of old, when elegant dinners could
run up to 84 courses. The dishes are traditionally mild in flavour and
incorporate herbs, spices, rice and yak cheese imported directly from
Nepal. The new menu is the creation of Kath+Man+Dus experienced
Executive Chef Deep Bahadur Shrestha.
As part of its Anniversary celebrations, Kath+Man+du is delighted to
offer its patrons 50% off all a la carte food items on its menu until
December 6th, 2001.
Kath+Man+Du is open for lunch from 11am 3pm and for dinner from 6pm
11pm, seven days a week. Reservations can be made by calling 2869-1298.
