In celebration of the hotel's 125th Anniversary year, The Oriental Bangkok is proud to present in cooperation with the Embassy of Portugal "An Evening of Classical Portuguese Guitar Music" on Wednesday 21 March 2001 at 19.00 hours at The Authors' Lounge, The Oriental Bangkok.

On this exclusive evening, famed Portuguese Guitarist Mr Antonio Chainho will be enchanting audiences with his talented musical sounds, accompanied by Mr Fernando Assuncao and Mr Pedro Teixeira on the classic guitar. Mr Antonio Chainho is internationally renowned as one of Portugal's greatest musicians, known for his innovative ways of playing the famed 12 string Portuguese guitar which is the main instrument in Fado, Portugal's traditional music.
