New brand
perfectly position for independent business travellers
Accor, the world’s largest hotel and tourism company, has launched a new
brand on the European market with the inauguration of its first
Suitehotel in Paris, near Porte de Mon treulil.
Accor plans to extend the Suitehotel concept throughout Europe by
opening 50 hotels over the next four years, giving preference to sites
with existing Accor brand hotels. Twenty projects are already under way
in France, Germany and Austria, with 10 additional hotels planned to
open during 2001-2002. These include Suitehotels at Charles de
Gaulle-Roissy International Airport, the World Cup stadium at Saint
Denis, Calais Coquelles (the Eurotunnel terminal), Cannes, and Vienna
(Austria).
Other projects are currently being negotiated in the United Kingdom, the
Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal.
The Suitehotel Paris-Porte de Montreuil is a three-star property with
166 individual suites, each reasonably priced at only 80 euros (US$71) a
night. They are designed for individual business travellers who are
looking for a place where they can relax, work, receive business
clients, have meals and welcome their family.
Each suite covers 30 metres and features a sliding screen to separate
dedicated living and working areas. The suites are equipped with high
quality furnishings and offer space, quality, comfort and warmth.
The working area is fitted with a direct telephone line, voice
messaging, two telephone handsets, a computer connection and Internet
access.
All suites are equipped with microwave ovens that enables guests to warm
prepared meals sold in the lobby. Bathrooms feature both individual
baths and a large separate shower.
An easy-to-use, multi-function lobby is open 24 hours and has a bar,
lounge, breakfast area, fitness centre and vending machines featuring
renown Lenôtre ready-to-eat meals. There is also a business corner
equipped a computer with broadband Internet access, printer and fax.
Suitehotels do not have restaurants or meeting rooms. |
