Singapore celebrates the annual month-long Singapore Food Festival with
a feast of all your favourite local fare at Café-in-the-Park.
Their chefs have created four different menus to showcase the very best
of Singapore Cuisine. Savour Singapore’s multi-ethnic specialities such
as Achar Achar, Rojak, Gado-Gado, Sato Ayam, Sayur Lemak with Lontong,
Roast Marinated Beef; Chinese favourites such as Bak Kut Teh, Braised
Duck with Black Mushroom, Har Lok, Hainanese Boiled Chicken and Fried
Rice with Salted Fish and Pineapple; and local icons such as Laksa
Lemak, Oyster Omelette, Fried Carrot Cake, Fish Curry with Lady Finger
and Eggplant and Otak Otak.
Save room for mouthwatering desserts that include Sago Gula Malaca, Tau
Suan, Kueh Lapis, Mango Pudding and Nonya Kueh.
The Singapore Food Festival from 1 to 30 April 2001 is available for
lunch from 12 noon to 2:30 pm at $18.00 per adult, $9.00 per child and
dinner from 6:30pm to 10pm at $25.00 per adult, $12.50 per child.
