Regal Hotels International Announces Senior Appointment

Regal Hotels International is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard Mark Hodges as its Vice President and General Manager of Regal Riverside Hotel.

Graduated from the University of Miami, Mr. Hodges has over 30 years of experience in the hotel and catering industry. A 21-year veteran of the Regal Group since 1980, he was initially the Vice President – Operations of its former hotel management company, MHM, Inc. – Regal Aircoa, in the United States. He had since then taken up a number of senior positions within the Group as General Manager of Regal Airport Hotel (now “Regal Kaitak Hotel”) in 1993 and Director of Operations of Regal Hotels International in 1996.

His latest positions held prior to this appointment were Regional Vice President of Operations (China) of Regal Hotels International and General Manager of Regal International East Asia Hotel.

Regal Hotels International is the largest hotel operator in Hong Kong with five quality hotels in Hong Kong (Regal Airport Hotel, Regal Hongkong Hotel, Regal Kowloon Hotel, Regal Kaitak Hotel and Regal Riverside Hotel). In addition, Regal operates two hotels in Shanghai (Regal Shanghai East Asia Hotel and Regal International East Asia Hotel), and one in Toronto (Regal Constellation Hotel). There are over 4,700 fine rooms in total.
