Cathay Pacific
Airways will launch a new World Pass promotion tomorrow (21 November
2001) offering passengers a special Economy Class fare of HK$11,880 or
Business Class fare of HK$46,880 to visit any three of over 30 selected
global destinations in 20 countries. Passengers can also opt to pay a
surcharge to get an upgrade to First Class.
The World Pass includes two long haul and one short haul round trip air
tickets. These tickets must be purchased between 21 November to 20
December this year, and are valid for travel between 21 November 2001 to
20 November 2002. Passengers who purchase a World Pass during the
promotion period will also enjoy an additional 10% discount on all
Stay-A-While hotel rates offered by Cathay Pacific Holidays.
Tickets must be issued in Hong Kong under one passenger's name with all
three destinations, flights and dates confirmed at the time of payment.
A number of terms and conditions apply.

The selected long haul destinations include Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns,
Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles, New York, San
Francisco, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rome and Johannesburg.
Short haul destinations include Bangkok, Cebu, Bali, Jakarta, Kuala
Lumpur, Manila, Penang, Singapore, Surabaya, Taipei, Mumbai (Bombay),
Delhi, Bahrain, Dubai, Riyadh and Colombo.

Cathay Pacific launched the Asia Pass promotion in August this year
allowing passengers to buy three Economy Class round trip air tickets
from Hong Kong to any three Asian destinations at a special price of
HK$6,880. In November, Cathay Pacific extended a Senior Citizens
Discount to Hong Kong residents aged 65 and above, offering them a 50%
discount on applicable Economy Class tickets. |
